Star Girl - Hot Off The Presses!
Massmainia's third CD, "Star Girl," presents fourteen new tunes from singer-songwriter Rachel Berlin and introduces vocalist Alex Berlin, whose dynamic voice, singing rock, jazz and country tunes, adds an exciting new dimension to the band's music. With powerful and gifted blues player Craig Jones on guitar, Randy Bramwell on bass, Steve Barbuto on drums and Rich Berlin on vocals, saxes, and clarinet, this new CD offers a diverse mix of sounds and styles.
"Star Girl" also shines with additional guest performers. The band is joined by virtuoso horn players Billy Novick (alto and baritone sax) and Mike Peipman (trumpet) as well as keyboardist Tom West (formerly of Susan Tedeschi Band).
